Youth Chess Club

Join us for an engaging after-school Chess Club designed for 3rd-5th graders who want to learn or improve their chess skills! Over this 6-week program, participants will develop strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the joy of friendly competition. Mr. Norstad, a passionate 4th Grade Teacher with a love for chess, will guide students through fundamentals, tactics, and exciting matches in a supportive environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this program welcomes all levels of experience!

• Dates: Tuesdays, April 22nd-May 27th, 2025 (6x drop-in sessions)
• Time: 4:30-5:30PM
• Ages/Grades: 3rd-5th Grade
• Experience Level: No previous experience needed
• Location: SkanStrength-Upstairs Activity Room
• Format: Drop in for individual sessions or attend the entire 6-week series! Our flexible format allows you to participate according to your schedule.
